Football scouting in China has developed significantly in recent years, as the country continues to invest systematically in the growth of the sport. The Chinese Football Association, in cooperation with academies and professional clubs, places great emphasis on identifying talented young football players from across the country.

Scouts in China observe school competitions, local academies, and national youth tournaments, evaluating technical skills such as dribbling, passing, and finishing, as well as attributes like speed, physical fitness, and tactical awareness. At the same time, they assess important personal qualities, including discipline, work ethic, and psychological resilience.

In recent years, the use of technology and data analysis has strengthened the scouting process. Through video analysis, statistical reports, and specialized software, clubs are able to identify promising players with greater accuracy. Many Chinese clubs also collaborate with European academies, adopting modern methods of player evaluation and development.

Football scouting in China is a key tool for building a new generation of players, with the aim of strengthening the domestic league and improving the competitiveness of the national team at the international level.
